Obituary of Marjorie Stanton
Marjorie M. Stanton of Rock Hill, a retired telephone clerk, died Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 90.
The daughter of the late William Minckler and Myrtle Mae Atkinson Minckler, she was born November 1, 1927 in Lyon Mountain, NY. She was the widow of Henry R. Stanton who predeceased her in 2006.

She was a loving caring mother and friend, who enjoyed the simple things in life- gardening, watching nature and birds, rummage sales and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Stanton (Robert Petitto) of Rock Hill; a son, Henry H. Stanton of Rock Hill; four brothers: William, Charles, Red & Ross Minckler; a sister: Anne Hatfield; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister: Eleanor May Stanton; four brothers: Howard, Harold, Pet and Ronald.
Cremation will be held privately, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
